Rehovoth 
ehovoth, founded in 1890 by a group of Zionists from Poland, became a citrus-growing center. Currently, it is the seat of Israel's foremost scientific center: the Weitzman Institute. The Turkish Post Office opened in 1910.

January 20, 1915. Wartime postcards originating in Gedera, from the Hazanov correspondence, mailed through the Rehovoth Post Office. Two different censorship cachets No 1 & No 2 in use for one month only, at the beginning of 1915. An additional censorship cachet recorded in use during 8 days only - December 30, 1914 to January 6, 1915.
